about

This one was never played live back during this era. This was written for a short film a buddy of mine named Anthony Merced made. I’m not sure if it was ever used since we had lost touch at the time. Musically I was very proud of this song because it was one of songs that pushed my creativity. It was also the very last song of the SUKY/WAP era written which has small hints and influences that bridged in the “Behind the Mask of Sanity” era. Lyrically, it’s mainly about the short film. I wonder if I should make an alternative version of this song with a more appropriate topic but as in “Freedom, Denied”, no point in trying to change history.

S.O.T.S.
(Music / Lyrics by 555)

Verse 1:
Gretta sat (tied) to a chair
gagged and unconcious.
unharmed appearing disheveled
from the struggle (to tie her) to the chair.

To her left, a small (foldout) table.
On it are several instruments
a stapler, a pair of scissors,
a lighter, and a fork.

Chorus 1:
Light leaked into the room as a door opened.
Gretta awakened and looked to the light. The shadow of someone standing appeared.
Gretta began to attempt an escape
a black haired girl appeared (then) entered the basement as the door closed.

Verse 2:
~Jessie~
I hope you're comfortable.
(You're) tied and gagged to a chair
the situation's laid out (for you)
(so lets) skip (the) horror movie bullshit!

Gretta stops crying
a look of anger (appears) on her face.
~Gretta~
So why was the gag removed?
~Jessie~
(Because I) want to hear you scream.

Chorus 2:
Jessie stabbed Gretta in the thigh with the fork.
Gretta screamed and cried (out) in pain. Jessie pushed the fork in deep.
(She) smiled as she wiped the blood from the fork onto her cheeks.
Gretta screamed in pain again. Jessie grabed her mouth to shut her up.

Bridge:
~Jessie~
No more crying baby Gretta.
Mom's not here to save you anymore.

Post Bridge 1:
Jessie put her foot on the wound she made on Gretta's thigh.
She tried to scream again but was muffled by Jessie's hand.

Gretta struggled in attempt to bite her.
(Jessie) screamed then backed off, reared (back) and smacked her.

Jessie reached (and) picked up (the) scissors.
She grabbed her hair and began cut (it off.)

Post Bridge 2:
Jessie stopped and looked at her again.
~Jessie~
Are you going to listen now!

Gretta looked away and nodded her head.
Jessie put the scissors back on the table.

She picked up (the) staple gun pierced her shoulder and stapled the rules on her chest.
Gretta screamed. Jessie kisses her and then leaves the room.

Verse 3:
Gretta attempted (to) escape restraints.
She grabbed her thumb (to) dislocate (it.)
looked around (the room) to escape.
tried to stand but fell from wounds.

She crawled to the wall
and lifted herself again.
(She) shivered from the shock of torture.
Slowly, limped to the door.

Chorus 3:
She limped into a dark hallway.
Music could be heard from a far coming (from) down the hall.
Against the front door, a hatchet sat there, next to a stack of wood.
She grabbed the weapon, limped down the hall towards the far door.

(Gretta) slowly pushed the door open. Gretta stood over her sleeping sister.
She raised the hatchet with all of her might and began to chop her.
No screams were heard, just ripping flesh & breaking bones.
Blood covered everything as she demolished her.
